Woops missed the "and I" part.
Maybe pickout something small & random like a video game that you not sure if you'll like it or not and get something bigger latter on.

My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

It all depends on your budget.
If it's pretty high, get an Xbox 360
Otherwise, get a tablet or maybe some epic peripherals for your computer.

all the other posts sound kind of pointless, so here are some ideas:
•iPhone
•iTouch
•Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (if you dont already have it)
•Something like Flash or Fireworks? (They're epic programs)
•Computer Stuff (eg. Web Cam, Mic, Tablet ect.)
•Nintedo DSi
•PSP Go
•Money (You can never go wrong with money :p)
•A Pet (Like a new dog, ect.)
other wise, no idea dude.
