I meant GOOGLE CHROME OS! Not that stupid Ubuntu! It's horrible! I prefer Fedora or something more lightweight. Honestly, I used it for a while, and I didn't like it. Google Chrome OS is based on the web.a.) Ubuntu = good,
b.) Why would any Scratcher want Google Chrome OS? Obviously they can't have Scratch.Ever heard of Scratch 2.0? It's going to run on the web...

Any computer is prone to virus, no matter what it is. It is just Ubuntu viruses are less common.

This, my friend, is a post of Ignorance!
The only reason to, "Macs dont get vireses lol" is that 90% of computers owned are
running windows, so there is no reason to create a virus for a Mac.
Maybe because macs aren't very good with programs.

WRONG. There are many, many useful and addicting applications available for all sorts of distros of Linux. Every kind of application, too. Tools... games... Internet stuff... graphics stuff.... lots. And there is Scratch available for Linux.
And besides, even not many did create Linux applications, we could always WINE....Lucario621 wrote:

It wouldn't need to run on the web, actually. The way Google Chrome OS would work is that there would be a folder you could download things into, and every program you have open would just be like another tab.(at least that's what their website said)
Anyways,I would say get windows if you want security and support, and macs for speed.

Both are actually really good. I use Windows 7, but use Macs at school. They are both the same equality. Windows 7 is REALLY fast though.
Macs still are awesome. They both appeal in the same way to me...

Maybe you could get Mac OS X Snow Leopard or something on a disc and run it, because it costs 30 bucks and it's a better deal rather than having to spend 1000 on a whole Mac itself...
(I saw it was 30 bucks at an Apple store in the Valleyfair Westfield Mall here in California.

Okay, it is time to set all wrongs to rights.
Linux is by far the best operating system you can get. And I mean get because you do not have to buy Linux.
There are no viruses for Linux.
There is crazy amounts of support.
You can use WINE to run your Windows exe files.
Buy some ThinkPad and if you desperately want to keep Windows partition your hard drive and install Linux on the non-Windows partition.
Run Firefox as your web browser.
Proceed to live happily ever after.
Windows in general fails. Really badly. No operating should be used if it uses \ instead of / for directories.

Get a Mac. They have superior hardware, the best operating system, that is the most secure, fastest, prettier, and top of the line. You can also play games just as well and some games better than windows can because they have NVidia GeForce graphics cards now that come standard, you can also get better graphics cards. You will never regret getting a Mac. Windows people say Mac sucks, but they have never used it and are just jealous. Once you get a Mac you can never go back(to windows that is).
