Ok, well what I was thinking was that you could make a projectiles mini box under Extras! in the program. it would be a step-by-step thingy. 1. Select the projectile (then you double-click the sprite in the sprite box) 2.Select where it starts out from(then you drag the projectile onto the place you wan't it to start out) 3.select where you want it to go to, or how far it goes. 4.tell it what it does when it hits the designated sprite (here you tell it what sprite it hits, then what effect it causes by choosing eigther a broadcast or a variable change).
And then you have a full-fledge projectile!!! in 4 e-z steps!

The thing is, Scratch isn't any more of a game engine than darkBASIC is. Sure, people use it to make games, but by adding features with "level", "projectile", and "main character" in the names just makes it more difficult to make non-game projects. Besides, projectiles are pretty simple; contact me if you need any help.
