Why do I get the "bad header" message?

Hi

When I try to download the script, and open it in Scratch 1.2.1, I get an error message that says "bad header."

What does that mean and how can I work around it?

Thanks!

Re: Why do I get the "bad header" message?

That's because you downloaded a project made with a newer version of Scratch. You should download Scratch 1.4.

Re: Why do I get the "bad header" message?

Hi MsInfo2u, the "bad header" error usually comes up because of version incompatibilities: it is most likely that your version of Scratch (1.2.1) is trying to open up a project created in a later version of Scratch (1.3 or higher). You will need to download the latest version of Scratch in order to run the projects (see here). Hope this helps!  smile
