Logging off after typing a long post

A few minutes ago, I spent about 10 minutes on a post in english and hebrew. I click on 'post', and the page turns to the forum front page, and it says I'm not logged on. I was before I put the post on, the server said I was, and then it says I'm not. This has happened a few times before, but only on posts that take me more than 5 minutes. Scratch team, please do somthing!

Re: Logging off after typing a long post

That's the random logging off problem at work once again. There's a sticky in the troubleshooting section about it. Hope it helps!

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

I'm sorry you lost all that work...that's a bummer.  We've had a lot of problems with this issue with the IE8 browser.  What browser are you using?

I will say that since I switched to Firefox, I have had pretty much no problems with the logging out glitch.

Right now I'm running Internet Explorer 7, but it has also happened to me on Google Chrome.

Re: Logging off after typing a long post

Several months ago I had a persistent problem with being logged off: it turned out to be a setting in my ZoneAlarm security software.  After I changed the setting there were no more problems. (I use Firefox and Windows XP.)
