Now, I've been studying this "meaning of life" business for some time. I've checked over and over, and I've listed the most plausible answers.
1. People aren't wearing enough hats.
2. 42
3. Matter is energy. In the universe there are many energy fields which we cannot normally perceive. Some energy has a spiritual source which acts upon a person’s soul, however this soul has to be brought into existence by a process of guided self- observation. Unfortunately this is rarely achieved because of man’s ability to be distracted by everyday trivia.
4. There is no meaning.
5. God was bored.
6. There is no #6.
7. All of the above.
8. Other
I just can't guess which is the right one. You decide!

I think of the meaning of life as fun (which can be pretty much anything), so #8. Other.

Have you even read Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy ? 'Cos you are very much mistaken. The book explains that it is not the meaning. I just put it up there so some sap would fall for it. Congratulations

Of course! But that leads to the ultimate question...

No, for these reasons:
A. It is the answer to the Question, but no one knows what the question is.
B. The true meaning of life was to be calculated by Earth, except it was demolished on the day it would give the meaning.
C. God's last words were supposed to explain the meaning, written in 50 foot tall flaming letters. Unfortunately, the letters spelled WE ARE SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.

People aren't wearing enough hats.
Except I guess they make you bald faster or something.
MORE HATS
(And REAL hats)

What do you mean by "(and REAL hats)"? Are there non-real hats?
Because if there are then I want one!

Meaning of life #2012 (An Excerpt from The Big Book of Life's Meanings written by Adrian Furrows) : Life was made to die.
That's a bit dark, adriangl. We wanted something a bit, well, happier. Like this one:
Meaning of Life #14 (Another Excerpt from The Big Book of Life's Meanings written by Adrian Furrows): Life was made to enjoy itself, and therefore make the universe wholesome and euphoric.
Note how much closer to the beginning that meaning was.

Yes, there is an actual #2012, and more. It coincidentally coincides with the 2012 apocalypse. (P.S. My name is not Adrian Furrows, Adrian Furrows is just me in disguise)

I think that the meaning of life is #13. Only because #13 is considered to be unlucky, and yet isn't. Luck is nothing but chance. However, most people avoid the #13 anyways, so if I go there, there is more for me. So therefore, I chose #13.

I turn to google for these kinds of answers

Meaning of Life #13 (Dear God, not Another Excerpt from The Big Book of Life's Meanings written by Adrian Furrows): Life was made to calculate the odds of luck and events.
Hmm... I skipped over that one when I read my copy of The Big Book of Life's Meanings because I thought it was unlucky
