Hey, a few weeks ago I had 32 viruses (from www.IMVU.com) and my grandpa had to delete everything on my computer. Unfortuantly, that included scratch. So I redownloaded it and guess what?! I can't see what I'm doing! I can see the scripts but only half the part were all the stuff is happening which makes it imposible to do anything! Please, if you can, HELP!!!!!!!

I think you may have your screen resolution set too low. If all the desktop icons seem bigger than they used to, that is probably the problem. Scratch needs a fairly high resolution setting to work. To change the resolution. right-click on an empty area of the desktop and look for Properties or Personalize (it varies depending on the flavor of Windows you are running) and look around the menus. Set it to at least 1024 in the horizontal dimension.

maybe you still have viruses? and why did you post the link to where the viruses came from? someone might click on it and get viruses in their computer

just do a virus scan on your computer that might help

There are no more viruses. I posted the site just s opeople don't go there. If I didn't, someone might see advertizement about it and go there. I don't mean for anyone to go there. (p.s. its still broke)

So...did you check the screen resolution? What is it currently set at?
What you are seeing (half the stage cut off) is EXACTLY what I see when I set my screen resolution to 800x600 - which is too low for Scratch. So that is probably your problem.
It is easy to fix, if you can find the right place to do it. If you can't find it, maybe your grandfather or some other adult can help you.

Uhhh, I just changed it to what you said 47fg74. And Then everything was tiny. So I changed it back.
Did you change the screen resolution? There should be a number of different setting you can try. Pick something greater than 800x600 but not a whole lot bigger. I think you need at least 1024 in the first number.
And setting screen resolution will NOT cause viruses, your mom can rest easy.

oh yeah, 2 more suggestions, first take to fry's, circuit city, or a place where you can a computer fixed, and second, if all else fails get a new computer (if you were rich I'd suggest getting an alienware computer, with 3TB harddisk space and more)
