I just finished a jukebox type Scratch file, and when i went to upload it it says the maximum is 10mb, while mine is around 61mb. i think we should be able to upload larger files, such as jukeboxes that include our favorite songs and a simple interface.

Most 10 MB projects are already very laggy. 61 MB is just crazy.
And BTW, Scratch needs server space to work. If everyone uploaded 61 MB files the server would be full in a short time, and the Scratch Team would have to pay more and more money to mantain more servers.

I agree with technoguyx.
But a quick workaround is to host the Scratch file on a media hosting site, such as Mediafire. Then simply post a project with a link to the download. Flaming_Duck did that with his project "Nowhere Part 2: The Void," if you need an example.

It's not so much about server space but about the limitations of Java. If you upload a big file no one would be able to play it on their computers unless the configure their Java virtual machine so it has more memory. So if we were to allow big files a lot of the projects on the website would not work and it would lead to a bad user experience.
