okay, scratch WON'T let me upload projects if they have a sound, (mp3 or wav), in it.
in a project im trying to upload now (Dragon Ball Stick) it has:
• 1x 7 secound mp3
• 2x 1 secound wav
and thats it! i compressed the sounds to the lowest setting, and it STILL doesn't upload.
things i've tried:
•NOT checking the compress box
•compressing EVERYTHING
•turning off fire wall, ect.
•removing ALL sounds
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
project's i've tried to upload:
•SynOS 4.0 (About 8 times already)
•Dragon Ball Stick (About 6 times)
•Cube Mania: March of the Cubes
•I Won't b home 4 christmas
NONE of them will upload (after all the "things i've tried")
if i cant fix the problem, ill have to leave scratch D:

Have you tried clicking the
Compress sounds and images button (on the bottom left of the upload info screen)

Usually you tell the error message first... But everyone is getting this problem, how often are you on the forums? It's been reported 3-5 times already, or more.

Are you sure it is the sounds that is causing the problem? Have you tried removing the sounds and seeing if that allows an upload?
If you are successful in uploading a project without sounds that would certainly indicate that the sounds might be the problem...or it might still be the overall size of the project causing the error. The next step would be to try an upload with very small sound clips (of the same format) and see if that works.

Well, at least we learned something...sounds are not the problem. So I would focus on the network connection and the computer doing the upload. Can you try uploading them from another network, maybe through your library or something? That's assuming you have a portable computer.
You could also try turning off any firewalls or parental control software and see if that helps at all.

Ask someone if you could quickly install and un-install Scratch on a different computer

i tried turning off firewall and everything and im a admin on my computer, so there isn't any parental controls.
(i actually dropped my laptop a few months ago, and i couldn't fix it)

It certainly has something to do with the internet connection settings.
You should certainly try to upload from another computer inside your house too, since that would tell you if it's a problem with the internet connection or router settings in general, or your pc.
You don't have to install Scratch at all on the other pc's , just copy the contents of your Scratch installation folder - except the help, media and locale folders (they take op too much space) - to a USB thumb drive and run it from there.
If it works on other pc's inside the house, it's your pc and you can probably easily fix it. Try to turn off firewalls (Mind the default windows one x| ) and security software you are running. Ignore all annoying 'your pc will not be protected' messages since you'll be turning it on again soon
. If really all security software is disabled, try to upload. It should work, if it doesn't, uhm, idk xD
If it does not work on other pc's inside your house, it's still possible security software is causing the problem - you might be running the same software as on your pc so turn it all of as described above and retry. If you succeed, turn it all back on and try to do the same on your own pc.
It might be possible a router is causing the problem (closing ports etc) but I have no clue if Scratch uses special ports your router might be blocking. Someone might be able to help you if you got to this part xD

Think - what recent changes or messages have you gotten from your computer recently? That includes all of the ones which you didn't bother to read... One of them might have said "This program wants to make changes to your computer. Do you accept?". Although I really don't know, because I've never had this problem.
