See --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SAI_%28software%29
Website is http://www.systemax.jp/ja/sai/ but you'll want to use a translator like Google's (http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=en) to read it in English.

Rip-off. 500 dollars? Theres NO way I'm gonna buy that. 500 dollars just for a paint mechanism? I bet even "paint.net" is more worth it.

I like Paint.NET and use ArtRage (google it). Online stuff like Photoshop Express (https://www.photoshop.com/express/landing.html) and A.viary (http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=3353) seem cool.
SAI looks complex though (Like Photoshop!), and 'Japanese Photoshop' seems to fit it well.

I haven't gotten in at A.viary, no matter how many times I've tried.
SAI looks cool though. Sorry if you think I've been demoting it.

I have a whole whack of paint programms because my dad used to be a manager at Corel (An art program company).
So I have Corel Draw 11, Photoshop 6.0, Paint.NET and Adobe Ilistrator 10. Corel Draw 11 is the best though.

When I got my Wacom tablet it came bundled with Corel Painter Essentials, Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0, and Nik Color Efex Pro (Add in for Corel). Corel is my favorite, but I like Paint.NET more than all of the above.

I have Paintshop pro 8 It costs £30 but it's worth it (ah, but I got it on eBay...imagine how much it really is
It's great for drawing and editing, even the pens and tools for drawing are a bit over teh moon!It's learning curve is about 2 days and it's sometimes a bit hard to understand, but you really get to know it if you really play around with it.
Sorry, I want to show off my paint editor like everyone else ^_^

PSP 9.0 was the last of the Jasc dynasty. A lot of people loved it, and Coral had a different thought for how it should be run. I got the name "Paint Scratch Pro" from Paint Shop Pro!

No it's not. Try a currency converter, it's about $50. Not convinced? Go here: http://www.xe.com/ucc/ and convert 5000 japanese Yen to US Dollars.
