hi im damo265 as you can see and im having trouble with downloading Java with Linux and i was wondering if anyone could make a Linux version of scratch. it would be awfully swell if someone could help me with this

Can't you use the Mac version? I hear (I don't know for a fact) that Linux is pretty similar to Mac so I think you can download the Mac version.

And if you're on Ubuntu there is a "Synaptic Package Manager" that can help install it.

What about Linux XP??? I am trying to find the base of the OS made by Russian company, TrustVerse.....
