The NSF wants to see what Scratch projects you can create. They'll feature some on their Facebook page. Learn more about it and post your projects at: http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=30037047899&topic=11353

Interesting Scratch projects... is there any specific subject they want?

I posted a project and I went through all the trouble making an account because I didn't have one.

You're supposed to use your real name for Facebook accounts. What you did was against the rules.

Once my parents let me make an account, I think I'll use Magnie as my screen name, and somewhere in my profile I'll add my real name.

Well it's better than using a real persons name, thats not mine. Privacy is extremely important to me and losing that over the internet could destroy my life. Everyone I know uses the internet. By searching my name they could tell others what I'm up to and so would begin the downward spiral. I would of course enter my real name if it was the law and I was assured that it would be kept confidencial.

If that's how you feel, then you shouldn't have created a FB account.

Well, I don't have a facebook account... So if someone wanted to do me a favor, they could add this: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/The-Whiz/766560
It uses a lot of the utilities of Scratch to make a nice, educational program.

hmmm, it seems to me that the science foundation haven't thought this through too well... when you look at the average age for a Scratcher being ... I think it was 13, and how many 13 year olds have Facebook... not a clever move. I suggest a website type thing where people can post their projects without creating a new acccount, just using their Scratch ID.
