Every once in a while I will get a message that say "randomUser" has added you to his/her friends list!
It is annoying.
I was thinking... maybe when somebody tries adds you to their list, you would receive a notification asking you to "accept" or "reject" the request. If you accept, you would be added to their friends list, any they would be added to yours. If you reject, nobody is added to anyone's friend list.

Really, I disagree. Instead of "rejecting" the request, you could simply ignore the message--delete it, whatever. It won't do you any harm to have your name on the requester's list; it might even get you more views. (There are a few who want less views, but....)
Instead of "accepting" the request, you could just add the requester to your friend list.
So I think this is pretty unnecessary. No harm done if it's implemented, though.
EDIT: See, proof right below me.
EDIT AGAIN: And below boinoinoi.

I disagree. Just ignore the messages.
To me, adding somebody to your friends, is also a bit like subscribing to them. Its not a friend request of any kind, its just a subscription... thats partly how I use it.

Before, adding someone to your friends list would add you to theirs. But this is no longer the case. Also, some people use the friend feature as a way to "watch" a user with the "my friends newest projects" section.

I'm actually quite happy to be added to a random friend list... that means I get more feedback every time I share a new project.
How often do you get those messages? Do you get them daily? Or once a week?
Just curious.

Yeah, I just let people add me, then I add them, if I'm really into adding someone, like we're making a project together or some other item, then I'll add them first, or they happen to add me first. So, having a random user on your list tells you how many people have actually looked at your projects.
Btw Chris: I get them daily, or somewhat often.

No need to criticize me guys!
I never said it was my problem anyway.
I just saw this complaint from another group of people.
