Scratch Advent Calendar 2010

I was thinking about making a Scratch Advent Calendar. Obviously it is too late to do one this year, so I thought I could do one for next year.

I was thinking I could make one minigame for December 1st through December 24th, then release a larger game on Christmas Day.

This would be a lot of work, so I decided I needed more people to help with it...

Post if you want to help.

Also join this forum if you are accepted onto the team.

Other help:

Chrischb - Ideas
gettysburg11 - Twas the Night Before Christmas Animation idea
Nikkiperson2 - Making the above animation

By the way, the final calendar and game will be posted on this account. IT IS NOT A COMMUNITY ACCOUNT. ONLY I WILL HAVE THE PASSWORD.

Sounds cool. I'll join - I'm sure I'll make some minigames to use for it in the one year timeframe.  smile

You're in.

Will you be an artist or a programmer (Or both)?

By the way, the minigames should preferably be Christmasy.

Both. I'll be making my own minigames (and some collab ones if you're doing any).

Re: Scratch Advent Calendar 2010

if you need some christmas rhyming
with snappy words and snappy timing
i'll be glad to help you out
at chistmas time, there's no doubt
that rhyming jingles and rhyming tunes
surely set the festive mood

Re: Scratch Advent Calendar 2010

I honestly had a similar idea, but I thought it would be too big and stuff.

*trying to make you envius* Oh well, I still have other, cooler things to do (not  sad )

Re: Scratch Advent Calendar 2010

Something christmas advent calander related - I have a lego advent calander, and each day you build something different. One day it was a snowman, another day it was somebody holding snowballs (tiny white studs), another is a person skating, and more. At the same time there are lots of thing un-related, like a train traffic light, a policeman, a streetlight, and a mailman. It's not like they're totally off, but they sure are a bit.

My brother got one, but I didn't, because they're about $30 this year. Each.

Just work on little christmas mini-games for now. I also need someone to make the front, with December 1st through December 24th on it.

Mhm. My mom usually gets me and my brother a chocolate one each year, but I decided to also get this lego one.

Although I'm not a huge lego fan nowa dayz. I like it for the fun of building it, and I might have one or two on my birthday and on christmas, but just for the fun challange, and the sense of achievement. I just hate when I loose pieces. I mean, I'm good and I generally keep the pieces in the box so they don't fly in different directions and I loose pieces, but I usually still end up missing some, but the wierd thing, is that I miss the BIG pieces. Not those small pieces, as they supply extras right in the box... So wierd  tongue
