That's all. Tell me if you have any other ideas. I might add it to the list.

this is a good idea because it drives the scratchers to get that award, and it also makes younger or begginer scratchers feel good if they get one of these.

Ya. It makes the people have a goal. Plus it shows what they've done with having to look at each single project. Even though archmage will have over 50 medals probably.

I don't think that users should get a medal. Most people on this site are beginners who are new to programming. Maybe projects could have a special picture in the project's page that indicates that it was on the frontpage at one time.

I fully support this idea. It'll make new users feel like they accomplished something if they get a medal and motivate them to make more projects. Good projects will also get more publicity this way. It also lets people who feel that Scratch is getting boring strive for something and have a goal.
Of course, the only problem would be integrating this system so that all past projects are given medals...is it tracked in the Scratch database if a project gets into Top Loved/Viewed/Downloaded Lately?

I like this idea.

Lanie, you would only have 8 medals? ok, I would have . . . . oh why bother counting. I would have a bit. But archmage, you do have a point, but its something you will be able to admire and this way you would have a goal to do.

I can see what you are saying, but I can also see what Archmage is saying. I'd like to see what a Scratch Team member thinks about this.

Ya relyt12101, I agree with you. I agree with archmage, and I agree with myself which means I also agree with you. That sounds wierd.
