Can someone write a story about how each company was created?
I don't know much about Flaming Trout. I'm curious to know about its past, present and future.

In gainsboro, hmnwilson said "Jk."

It's only one vote for Tsunami even though he never made a game that he kept on babbling about for a year and he was super arrogant and doesn't deserve any sort of mention.
And hmnwilson still said "Jk" in gainsboro.

Sure! I'll write one about evil string....
I love original, and creative projects. Not necessarily amazingly programmed projects, just original and fun! So I created evil string! I was not really selective, and pretty much everyone who applied made it! We have artists, programmers, testers, and backups, and we all work. Evil string is not really strint, and the what people do for games is limited by their imagination. I also though that it would be interesting for users to collaborate, and work together frequently, instead of just making their own projects. I encourage people to ask if they want to work on a project with us, and that way, Scratchers learn to collaborate! We plan on making many fun and interesting games, and just recently released out first one (Archer Ownage). Thanks for reading!
Note: Although I am in flamingtrout, I think funkymonkey (veteran member) should tell you about them!

Flaming Trout Inc.: A History
2007
Flaming Trout Inc. was made by Kingoflego originally in the middle-ish of 2007, and I think from the start it was a great success. I joined pretty early on and we made a couple of okay games ( Invasion: The Dark Side and Graveyard Shift and, my person favorite Coliseum. The gallery was featured sometime, but i can't exactly remember when. FT lasted for about 2 or 3 months untill Kingoflego quit Scratch, and the company went downhill. I didn't want to see all of our hard work go to waste, so I made a new Flaming Trout gallery in late 2007, and invited all of the members to join, and I started running Flaming Trout Inc.
2008
We made a ton more games, and the gallery was featured. We also had a lot of demos that we were working on, and even thought a lot of the original members started leaving Scratch, more great programmers and artist joined our ranks. We became very well known and were one of the best companies on Scratch, aside from Crank Inc. (though back then there weren't very many, and the programming was not as advanced as it is now). The games we made included Beat Em Up!!!, Medieval - The Attack, and Frantic Frenzy. Then, one day I decided to quit Scratch in about late 2008. As the leader of Flaming Trout, I passed it onto nikkiperson2 to run. It didn't work out, and Flaming Trout died out. I occasionally checked in to see how they were doing, but none of the members were active there anymore. It was very sad. Flaming Trout was no more.
2009
In late 2009, I decided to come back to Scratch, and brought back most of the previous members, as well as adding 2 or 3 new ones to our numbers. We left 2008 with about 5 demos of games we were working on, and we brought those into Flaming Trout Revived. We also came up with many new concepts, and Flaming Trout is once again one of the best companies Scratch has seen. We have a lot of games that are on the brink of being finished, and we even made a new website which I encourage you to take a look at.
2010
We hope to release many games this upcoming year, and I hope the Scratch community is as excited about that as the company is. Check our website (link is above) for the list of upcoming titles. Scratch on!
That is the history of Flaming Trout Inc.

wow, thanks funkymonkey! It would be great to get other people's input on the story. Maybe you can write an entry about Flaming Trout for our blog.scratch.mit.edu with some screenshots and links to the projects and description on how the team coordinated to create, difficulties, decision making process, etc.

Backstory for flaming trout which i have just made up:
Once upon a time, a monkey who was really funky decided to eat fish. He got a trout, and tried to cook it, but it set on fire. He then ate it and fell down a well by accident and some other people helped him out, so he decided to form a team with these people. He called it the flaming trout inc.
