Scratchthumbs.db

Any idea what this is and why Scratch scatters it all over my Mac?

It is a little script that allows Scratch to access image files. Don't worry about it.

It makes it in every folder the Scratch File Browser (lol) views.

I believe it is the thumbnail images that appear in the file selector window when you go to import a costume or a a background.  You can throw the file away but it will just make it again the next time you use the file selector window in that directory.  Scratch leaves them on the directory to speed up access to the files the next time you go to that directory.

Can't it just use Windows' Thumbs.db?

Of course not, Microsoft wouldn't share, sneaky money lovers....
