I agree. A wikia would be helpful.

Re: A proper scratch wiki

For andres, it would be nice if there was a link to it on the top bar. Now if you're wondering where it should go, well currently there's no spot (languages option isn't shown in the forums). Well, we have two options

-Remove My Stuff (I usually click my username anyway)
-Remove About, and add what's in there to Support

Re: A proper scratch wiki

Yes, this would be nice... maybe it could replace the "My Stuff" button, because you can always click your username in the Welcome, Chrischb thing.

As for a current solution, people can try the FAQ forum.

Re: A proper scratch wiki

There is enough room to simply add a Wiki section to the top bar, there's a bit of blue stuff on the right.

In the long run, it does not matter how long it takes for the article to get on the wiki, we just need to ensure the articles are of a good quality.

That makes sense... But what if a lot of articles are good quality?  wink

Then there would be many good articles and it would become a good wiki, and nothing bad would happen. What kind of question is that?

No there isn't. In the forums, it doesn't show the language thing, which is actually there. Silly you two!

Re: A proper scratch wiki

I would be happy to be a driving force behind this wiki  smile  I really like the idea and have already attempted a similar thing on wikibooks that never got off the ground. I don't know any good free wiki sites so unless scratch is going to provide one for us, could someone post a link to a good free wiki site?

I've taken a long hiatus, but I still visit sometimes. Give me some time to answer any messages you post on my projects!

Um, how am I supposed to find a way to say "Silly you!"

I submit.
I surrender.

You're right, there's no space. Now where would that button go...?

As for the wiki, what would the logo be? We could have a contest.  big_smile

No, the Scratch logo is the wrong shape. >:-)

GOODNESS GRACIOUS!

In one of my previous posts, I just mentioned:

1.Get rid of my stuff
OR
2. Put About and Support into one.

Maybe we could put it as a sidebar on the front page instead of having to delete one of the buttons. If we ever make it.

Yes. A proper wiki is really what we need. I'm for the idea.
