This should clear some stuff up.
....................................
There have been many threads that are simply appeals for help in programming.
To simplify it all:
This forum is for bugs with Scratch and the Website.
This forum is not for asking for help in programming.
If you want help, use the All about Scratch forum. Not only will it be in the right place; you will receive a lot more replies because that forum is visited more.
For those who are confused on the line in between:
Troubleshooting
A bug is a problem with Scratch or the Website. You may find that a block will not work, and that is a bug. You may see that posts are randomly deleted, and that is a bug.
That applies to your downloaded Scratch software and the Scratch Website.
Programming troubles
You have one of these when you're making a project but don't know what to do. Maybe a variable won't reset, and you don't know why. That is a programming trouble. Maybe you can't scroll very well. That is a programming trouble.
Post them both in the appropriate forums, and it'll be fine.

I've had some confusion in the past, and many others have too, so posting this was probably a good move.
Thanks! I used to have a bit of trouble, too... or I think so.

I did this type of topic a few days ago in Advanced Topics...
Yes, I'm annoyed at how people can post in the wrong forum.
