Why is Scratch in a different language?

I left the computer and went to do some homework in my bedroom for about 30 minutes. I had already closed Internet Explore. My brother went on the computer and went on addicting games.com. Anyway, I came back and the writing on the homepage was a different alphabet than the English one. What happened? I think this had something to do with my 7 year old brother though... But how do I change it back to normal? I can't read Russian (or atleast I think it's Russian...)!

That also happens to me every once in a while. Just choose "English" in the navbar field on the far right to set the website language back to English.

Re: Why is Scratch in a different language?

In Tools? I have Internet Explore. Are you using the same browser? Well anyway, on Explore, I went into internet settings and selected "English (Canada)" And nothing happened... strange. And Google and other pages work fine. just not Scratch.

Re: Why is Scratch in a different language?

Try going to the home page on Scratch. In the top right hand corner there is a language bar. Select English and your problem should be fixed.

Well, I fixed the problem for now by using Safari browser. Hopefully my dad can fix it.

Hobbs! Look -

See all the way to the right? There is a drop down menu. In English it says 'Language'. Select that and then select 'English'.

What browser you are in means nothing.
