Download and run in presentation. Not for the impatient.
While playing some games on my N64 emulator I noticed that one of my favourite games (Bomberman 64) used mainly sprites for most of it's characters. So I decided to recreate Bomberman exactly as he appeared in the N64 version (with minor improvements) and I created this.
The character can rotate on the X and Z axis, but not the Y axis because of scratch's lack of Scaling Functions would make it look unusual.
For the face I used an interesting method - I simulated a 3D plane by using multiple thin sprites placed around the head - which is slow but effective.
At the start I was planning to make a 3D bomberman64 remake, but the speed of rendering this one character (Game's meant to have 4 AND AI.) just proves that until scratch speeds up A LOT this is unfeasable.
Comment nicely. I spent a lot of time on this.
DO NOT SAY "THIS IS SLOW" OR YOU WILL BE LAUGHED AT UNTIL YOU CRY.
