Scratch Stats!

As of today (at this point in time),

There are 558,305 projects available with a total of 13,730,857 scripts and 4,339,118 sprites created by 83,238 contributors of our 367,297 registered members. That's a lot of Scratch-ing!

And...

The average member has 2 projects
The average contributing member has 7 projects
22% members conribute!
The average project has 25 scripts and 8 sprites
The average sprite has 3 scripts
22% of all the projects that have existed have been deleted!

What do you think? Feel free to add your own updates.  smile

That's pretty cool.

The average member has a total of 37 scripts in all their projects combined.
The average contributing member has a total of 165 scripts in all their projects combined.
The average member has a total of 12 sprites in all their projects combined.
The average contributing member has a total of 52 sprites in all their projects combined.

This one has more than 27000 scripts, but they are probably all <when green flag clicked>[/blocks] scripts...

Doody has one with 57000+ scripts (her first project with more than two XD) but they were all <when green flag clicked> blocks of course.

Really, averages are not nearly as useful as medians in demographic observation. Good luck finding that  smile

Yeah, I agree, especiall with the number of non-conributing members. But that's a little extreme I think, with so many projects!  wink

What I'd like to add....Don't be shocked by ammount of scripts/sprites. The effects with the looks thing could change alot! And 1 sprite could have an extremely long script.
