Could not read project...?

I have spent a lot of time working on a project, and it was possibly my best work yet. When I tried to open it up in Scratch up this morning, I found this message:

Could not read project; file may be damaged:
                     (key not found)

If it was a project that I had only just started, I would start again, but there were over 150 hand drawn costumes on this project, and they took me the best part of a day to draw. In addition to this, the scripts were almost finished. I don't know if there is a way of retrieving my project. Does anyone know if there is a way to solve this?

Re: Could not read project...?

You should try creating multiple copies of the project so that you have less of a chance of losing it. This happened to me on my Scratch Tutorial (scratch_yoshi account but the project is deleted (read sig)) too (I didn't know what to do at the point).

Re: Could not read project...?

I've created multiple copies of other projects in the past, but all of the copies always get the same thing happening to them...? It might just be my PC, I s'pose.
