I agree that Jonathanpb would be a good choice, but another election would work great as well.
Noooo! Inspiration and More isn't even one of my favorite forums!
In Cheddargirl's suggestion, Inspiration & More isn't going to moved to a new place like TBG.
So the one who would be chosen would be moderating all the forums (Except for TBG).
Oh. That's all right then... it'd be nice to help the Scratch Community and keep the forums clean! And you can actually do things instead of reporting things and leaving it to them...

This is a great idea- this way people who like to debate topics won't have to filter through all of the other threads to find an engaging debate thread. It would also make it easier for people who are seeking sprite requests. (There's much more that this could help- those are just a few ideas.)
You have my full support, Cheddargirl

I think this is a great idea. Having sections of the Inspiration and More forum would mean that people could easily find what they want to give input on.

I would like it, although I do not visit Inspiration and More or Text-Based Games much. But the categories would help some other people, I'm 99% into the idea... but I was wondering the same thing boinoinoi was wondering:

Kewl. One question, though. How do you propose you would organize the topics already in the forum?
because it would be kinda hard... but that's just my opinion.

So, any more takers?

I support your idea too!

You could make a list of supporters... looking at it would make you feel happy and proud!

I guess I could do that, it could serve as a guide to how many people would like to see my suggested change to the 'Inspiration and More' forums. I'll probably do that later when I get the chance.

And then change your signature.

The proposed idea is to split it up into groups such as sprite requests, inspiration, ideas, etc.; I'm not sure how the actual formatting works though.

Awesome idea! I hope it works out!

This shall be noticed! *bumps although it's already active so the Scratch Team sees it*

At the risk of being bombarded by insults for having an opinion diffrent than everybody else, I won't like the new layout, and think it's fine just like this.

If you've been to the 'Inspiration and More' section, you'll see some debate about it. Some are vying for it to be removed, others want the discussions to change. I do not believe in either, but I do believe 'Inspiration and More' could be better improved.
Here is what I'm suggesting:
I think Inspiration and More could be split into multiple sections to better accomodate for the topics and discussions that go on in there. I was thinking of a layout like this:Requests - For things like sprite requests, etc.
Opinion and Debate - For discussions about different ideas. Surveys included here, too.
Non-Scratch Game talk - For those who play games outside of Scratch (Pokémon, Roblox, Dragon Cave, etc.)
Non-Scratch Community talk - For things not about Scratch (like the "Recipe Book" thread, or the "Weird Dreams" thread)
Collaboration Projects - For collaborations on Scratch projects. EDIT: I'm thinking that threads asking for beta-testing projects may also fit it in here as well.
Project Ideas Help - For help with ideas for a project
Miscellaneous - For those threads that do not fall into the category of the others above (and, as time goes on, more categories can be added if a new significant theme comes out from the Miscellaneous section). What do you guys think?
Sub-Forums within forums! That sounds like a awesome idea! It will keep it way less surprising when you open that part of the forums. Great idea!

I agree, just whatever you do, please don't erase IaM!

i like the Inspiration forum just as it is! it is really easy to access all of the posts i want to look at and i don't have to go to a bunch of different places.

Yes, it can be easy to access stuff. But the problem is that the forum is rather cluttered, and dividing it into seperate areas would help keep it clean.
And it would also be easier to find what you want specifically!
