Fake sharing date...

I was making a project and when I was finished with a thing I uploaded it to my test account.
I named the project TEST, but I had already a project called TEST uploaded, so the new one replaced the old one...
But the sharing date is the same as before, so it says that the project I just made, was shared 4 weeks ago  tongue
This could be used for faking sharing dates...
Maybe it should be fixed?

Re: Fake sharing date...

This could also be used for cheating the featured spot.

Say, my "Etch-a-Sketch" gets featured, and then I upload Space War 4 with that name.

When It is online, I change the name to Space War 4.  yikes

Yes, I don't think you would do that though xD

This could turn into a very bad thing. Like what if someone who's project gets featured changes it to something else... Well I know the picture on the front page would change but that doesn't stop innocent eye's from viewing it before it can be taken off. Maybe to stop this the scratch team copys the scratch project onto another account and make the "by" thing link to the originals persons account and any "views" are given back to the original project.

That way the featured project gets featured for the content that it had when it was featured and not added content afterwards.

please consider this

Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

Re: Fake sharing date...

Look... it's intentional. It's for updating projects. If you don't want to update your project (or make it think you have), upload your project with a different name and change the name when it's uploaded.
