Google are testing some new things, wanna try it out?
I found these instructions on a Swedish site called idg.se
Step by step:
1. Go to Google.com
2. When the page is loaded replace the URL in the address bar with this:
javascript:void(document.cookie="PREF=ID=20b6e4c2f44943bb: U=4bf292d46faad806:TM=1249677602:LM=1257919388:S=odm0Ys-53ZueXfZG;path=/; domain=.google.com");
3. Hit Enter
4. Reload Google.com

If it didn't, try to do it again and follow the instructions carefully.
Because you might have:
Just added to the address bar, without removing the previous content.
Forgot to reload.
Visited a national Google site like Google.se or Google.co.uk

Just go to this URL:
http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=en

The reason why that works is because you've already added 'that long text' before.
What the long text does is that it adds a cookie on your computer so that Google shows the new style I think

![]()
Not much, really.
And Greatdane, the only reason you can get to it w/o JavaScript is because you've done it before.

The code is too long to copy and paste... is there supposed to be an enter in between?

You must reload and I don't think it works with national Google sites.
I did reload but i'm using a computer with vista so all buttons look the same.
I'll look at it in about 2 days or so again when I can use xp

I run vista too, and I'm sure many other users do.
And I don't think Google would develop a new design that doesn't work on vista
Look at the steps carefully and try again.
Be sure to replace the current URL in the address bar before adding the code.
