The Forums
Just some concepts about the forums, for users old and new.
1. Questions
A. The forums is a great place to ask questions for help. Use the oppurtunity.
B. If someone asks a question, try your best to answer it. Remember that you too, were new to Scratch and didn't know much about it.
2. Advertising
A. "Show and Tell" is the place to advertise for you projects and galleries, and not nothing else should really be posted there. Include a link to whatever you are advertising. It is polite and you will get more views as well.
3. Problems- http://scratch.mit.edu/contact/us
A. Do not advertise for copiers or rude comments in the forums. Instead just Flag the comment as inappropriate and/or use the "Contact Us" to inform the Scratch Team.
4. General terms of Use- http://scratch.wik.is/Terms_of_use
A. Just like the rest of Scratch, you must follow the terms of use. This includes being respectful.
B. Refrain from fighting in the forums. Try to resolve problems, while respecting others.

This is good stuff, it should be tweaked some and stickied at the top of all the forums! This could definitely cut down on dumb posts- and prompt more good questions from users
