Well, there's this USB thing on Smart USB drives called U3, and it let's you carry programs and use them on your USB drive. I can't upload stuff at home because my internets been broken for like a month, but if Scratch is made for the U3 system then it would be open to a lot more people.
The website is www.u3.com and there's a slogan there that says something like "Open your application to thousands of new people by converting it to U3"

Bump
I found the saying
"Expand your market; Gain access to millions of new customers by making your application U3 smart."
Edited for Scratch:
Expand your userbase; Gain access to millions of new Scratchers by making your application U3 smart.

Can't you just store files on a USB stick instead of buying more programs? Really. You don't need u3 or whatever. Just store your programs on the USB.
