Changing the amount of time you have to edit a topic's name.

Yesterday I decided to see how long you have. It's five minutes.

Yuck! That's barely any time! How about changing it to:
• ten minutes
• thirty minutes
• an hour
• a day
• forever

Honestly, I think the first two are too short and the third is a bit short.

Five minutes is as if you're not allowed to edit a topic's name, but you can quickly change the name. Why would it not be wanted to edit a topic's name?

Yes. I suggest the forever option.

Me too. After all, what good is five weeks to forever?
But five weeks is ridiculous anyway.  tongue

Forever, is not Ok, because then you could make something that appears new, but might be a super-old topic. For a short about of time is ok...

You've got a point... would five days do?

The only person that could edit the topic name is the topic owner (or a moderator, but let's forget that because they're sensible). You can look at the number of replies for a topic, and check if it's an old one. And why would people rename topics like that anyway?

You have a good point though.
