I was just thinking, a lot of guides on "how to do this" and "how to that" often fill up the New Scratch Members topic. I know this is what the section is for, and I'm not complaining about this, but sometimes new Scratcher's are missed because of the vast amount of help topics that fill the page.
Perhaps a new topic section could be made for Scratch guides so that New Scratch Members are more noticed but can still be easily re-directed to all the guides and tutorials?

There's already the FAQ... but great idea!
Everyone could post their own tutorials! It'd be great! You'd be able to find help for just about anything!
Oh, and you should be able to post in there asking for instructions. Or there could be a request feature.

I use the Show Recent Posts a lot to make sure I am seeing any new posts.
That being said, yes there is definitely room for improvement in organizing the forums and particularly the tutorials. There are so many great tutorials that have been made, both in forum posts and in Scratch Projects but it is hard to put any kind of structure around them so that they are easy to find. I'm not sure I want to see the tutorials broken out into their own forum though - it seems like it might be harder for newcomers to find them on their own if we did that.

Hmmmmm... maybe. But I prefer a tutorial forum to a wiki. Though I don't really care much about which one.

What's that first thing? Oh, never mind.
Yes, there are plenty of tutorials (and a multi-sticky with them in All About Scratch). But isn't it a bit hard for new users to find the tutorials? They're not that visible... and there aren't that many tutorials anyway. Won't having a tutorial forum solve those two problems? And people will be able to post their own tutorials, so we'd have plenty!
I notice that you think it'll be hard for newcomers to find the tutorials on their own... I'm not so sure. If we put the tutorials in their own forum, won't they be visible? After all, there's the title over there... but who knows.

*Headdesk..*
I meant topic I'll edit that now..
But, It could alsobe easier as more Scratchers would notice the new threads & posts and help by linking to the useful Tutorial threads.
Also, new scratcher's wouldn't have to dig through all the other posts in New Scratch Members because they'll be in there own section and help would be easier to find

And I think that it would be better to have a new wiki, like Blender has, but with more tutorials.
..I've not seen that thread..
But It's still a good idea, 2 people though of it

But you can't make new threads in the FAQ, also, they're the Frequently asked questions, not a list of helpful projects and threads.
I think that if you could compile every guide into one place, it would make things a lot easier.
