Sprite disappears

If I have two costumes on one sprite and I turn one into a new sprite, I have two sprites on the screen, but on the section below where it shows all the sprites and the background, there is only one sprite.

The sprite is still there and I can double click on it to add/change scripts but it doesn't show below where it shows all the sprites and how many costumes and scripts there are.

That happened to me. I even uploaded the project with it. (called scratch glitch)

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
