I think the anticipation of having the shot hurts a lot more than actually having the shot.

k here is all of your information
it takes 10-14 days for the shot to work
you probably have a higher risk of getting the swine flu for a couple days after the shot as you are still fighting off the vaccine, therefore if you come into contact with the swine flu after getting the shot you may have a higher chance of getting it, until of course those ten to fourteen days have passed. also your arm will hurt for around a week, but it will get better as the week passes so it will just be a small annoyance by the end of it. so in the meantime jut be cautious, i got the shot and im immune now and i didnt get the swine flu, though lots of people i know got it the day after the shot, so like i said just be wary.

oh also you will probably get some flu like symptoms the day after just because of the side effects of the shot, my sister had a low grade fever and a stomach ache, and i had a headache all day, they're mild though and will probably go away the next day.

I already had it, so I don't need the shot
. It's not that bad, actually.

I usually don't get those sicknesses anyway, usually cramps, extreme aches(anywhere, and I got one as I typed this), and migraines(spelling right?).... UGH...oh yeah, barfing alot too. And headaches!

it all depends on the person but theres a good chance youll get a minor fever or at least be a little under the weather all day, a headache is probably common too but i dunno for sure.

Yeah, my swine flu(if I even get it) probably won't be that bad...

During one day in '08, I had to get 2 shots at once at my left shoulder. My left arm 'died' for the rest of the day. (Yes it still works)

I didn't get the H1N1 vaccine, and I never will. My parents don't think I need it, we have strong immune systems. Even if I did get it, I wouldn't die.
As my mom said, your best defence is your body itself.

1. I don't take karate.
2. What the saying means when you get sick, your best defence against the sickness is your immune system.
