Message Readout: Epic Fail

The message system is wacked. Or at least the message notifying system. With the all new "Only see what the other person said" what happens if you cant remember what you said?

i.e.

example123: what is your next project going to be
-->reply-->bosox397: idk
-->reply-->example123: oh thats cool

If you didn't just post "idk" how would you remember what you were talking about when example123 said "oh thats cool"?

So basically my suggestion is to include all parts of the original post in the message notification part. Thank you.

Dear Scratch Users,
I'm done with scratch, or at least making projects. I have made one last big game, thats both fun and teaches a lesson about water. It'd mean a lot if you gave me feedback.                              http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/bosox397/569201

Re: Message Readout: Epic Fail

Yes, I like this suggestion.

I get lots of responses to my responses and I can never remember what I said.  With some of my projects having hundreds of responses, it can take a long time to find the original message thread to see what was said.

Re: Message Readout: Epic Fail

I would like to see the ability to gain access to the original post that the reply was for. Nice suggestion.  smile

Re: Message Readout: Epic Fail

Its a good idea. Especially if the comment was from long ago on a project you made 5 months ago, it can be very hard to find.
