List Sorting BLock

A great thing for people wanting to do Z sorting or just wanting to sort something mid-project would be a block which sorts all the objects on a list from highest to lowest etc.

What do you think?  smile

Re: List Sorting BLock

Nice idea. I think there's a custom block like that in a BYOB example file.

Re: List Sorting BLock

It would also be nice if there was an easier way to find the mean, mode, median, and range of lists. Its definately possible, but some are difficult, especially when the length of the list is changing, and its not always a certain amount.

Re: List Sorting BLock

Yeah. The mode median mean will only work for numbers. What if the list had strings??

Hai.

Re: List Sorting BLock

Yeah, why not have more list features. Everything mentioned in this thread is easily possible with existing blocks but for convenience sake these blocks would be good.

Yes... it can be difficult.

Hmph enjoy your fall - I get a lovely spring... without pans of new leaves.
