Can't Import files

I can't import picture files!
I was able to import any type of file before i downloaded the new version of scratch a few days ago. Now I can't. Its not a file size problem.

What the heck is wrong?!  mad

I can import the pictures that i downloaded with the new scratch though...
Otherwise it WONT WORK!!!

I try to import my own music but it says it is a "unrecognized file format." What is wrong?

is it a .wav/mp3 file
