You can just type it up in a paragraph. You can also say your favorite type of dog or cat or whatever is... instead of your favorite pet is a dog, and your favorite breed.
For Example (Although it's really mine)

My favorite type of dog is a schnoodle. A schnoodle is a mix of a schnauzer and a poodle. Mine is named Saidie, which is named after her mother. My mom picked a schnoodle out because neither schnauzers and poodles shed. Also, poodles are one of the smartest breeds, and schnauzers are up there on the list, too. I like Saidie because she is very loving, smart, interactive, and talented (and also super cute). She loves to cuddle up with you and 'talk' to you by pawing at you, looking at you, and barking or growling (playfully) at you. She knows lots of tricks. She knows 'crate' (for when she did something bad), birds and squirrels or potty (outside), 'lets go get in the car', and her favorite: 'wanna go get in the pool?' She loves the pool. She loves to jump off the diving board and bring us back balls from the water. Saidie also knows sit, down (lay), crawl (She lays down and crawls to you, know kidding), turn (turn around in circles), and most recently, fist bump (Hand shake is over rated  ). She is a very smart dog.
The thing about Saidie is she can sometimes be super noisy. She'll bark, growl, and whine. But most of the time, she's a good dog.
