A fix for the logging out problem on the website

Well, a major improvement to the forums and website (for me) is multiple tabs support. Right now, if you have two tabs of the Scratch website open with you logged in, every time you move to a different page, you are logged out until you only have one tab open. I use IE8, and this is quite annoying for me, as I like to have a few tabs open so I can look at other things. Any chance of a fix for this?

I don't know... all I know is that I don't get the bug. I use IE8 as well, and that's odd - but anyway I don't use the tabs that often, so it's not to its full advantage.

The Scratch Team probably have this on their list of things to fix, so keep checking for a breakthrough.  smile

I've never had this problem with firefox. i'll try it with ie

Does anyone else get loged out because I don't

So to me multiple tab support appears to be active.

Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

So far we haven't been able to track this problem down and resolve it.  It seems to be only on IE8.  I switched over to Firefox myself...haven't regretted the move at all.

Hmmmm... That's strange. It definitely logs me out every time... I don't really want to use Firefox, as I have had bad experiences with it (had to clean install my whole windows after I installed it and frequent crashes of Vista started happening... long story.) Can anyone reproduce my problem?

I can't.  sad  If you want, use Google Chrome or Safari. I recommend chrome.  smile
