Hi all, I am an educator and I have classes of students using Scratch. I am getting some students with projects that were fantastic but now cannot be opened. One in particular I would like to recover is getting a "message not understood:bitShift"
Please help can I recover this file or a least prevent similar losses in future?
Thanks for any help

I'm not too sure how it got corrupted. Maybe you should try reinstalling Scratch, but move your files to other directories NOT named 'Scratch Projects'. I honestly don't know how it came there, but I think Scratch got corrupted.

I have copied file and tried to open it on another computer but no joy. This students work was really good, I would really like to save it ( or at least prevent similar disaster in future!)
