i have never used broadcast what is it for???????????????

Broadcasts signal that something has changed or occurred. It has the same purpose as variables.

When u use broadcast it will do something like...

Sprite 1
<when green flag clicked>
<broadcast[say hi  ]and wait c>

Then Sprite 2
<when I receive[ say hi
<say[ hi ]for(  1)secs>

or u can make do what ever when u recieve the broadcast but if that doesn't clear it up go to the support section on scratch
