How do you celebrate in December? I celebrate Christmas.
This is a typical Christmas for me: If it is Sunday, we go to church for a special service. I wake up early, and wait until 8:00 to open presents. After I open presents, we usually play with our presents. (Last year I went outside in shorts and a short-sleeve t-shirt! It was 95 degrees last year outside.....I went swimming!!) After playing for about an hour, we eat our big brunch that my mom cooks. (Various things, usually a really good meal that goes along with our special holiday drink.) We continue using our Christmas presents, and then get dressed up for dinner at my Grandmother's at 3:00. On the way there we listen to Christmas music, and I usually call my best friends. We eat a long dinner, then we play games like Scrabble. It is a fun time, and we all enjoy!
Now, share how you celebrate your holidays in December! I am anxious to hear! Traditions, ideas, and more! Only at Inspiration and More!

A normal Christmas for me is with family,
It's usually:
8-9:00am, wake up
9:00am, open presents with mom + sister
9:30-1:00am, play with presents for a bit and maybe eat and watch TV
1-2:00am, travel to Grandma's house and have a family party until about 9:00pm
9:00pm, come home and spend the evening with mom + sister
And then sleep at whatever time

You're Indian? Me too! Except I am a Catholic, so I don't really celebrate Diwali.
Christmas for me, my favorite day of the year!

In Sweden we celebrate Christmas on December 24th. This is a normal Christmas for me:
9:00 wakes up and eats breakfast
10:00 looks in my Christmas sock, finds a letter opens it, gets a hint to where something is hidden... thinks, searches, finds the present (always a book).
13:00 Dinner, In Sweden we eat this for Christmas dinner:
Christmas Ham, Sausages, Meatballs, Herring and much more!
15:00 The Swedish tradition is to watch Donald Duck and other animated Disney shows that are on the TV (always the same on Christmas, tradition you know...)
18:00 Some sandwiches or maybe more Christmas food for dinner...
19:00 Gathering around the Christmas tree, everyone in the family take turns opening presents.
20:00 Playing around with my new stuff
21:00 watches a Swedish show called "Svensson Svensson".
22:00 sitting and drinking mulled wine with my family (I prefer non-alcoholic)
23:00 - 00:00 Going to bed, lying thinking about how wonderful this Christmas was (Even though it hasn't ended yet) and about my family
Next day (25th):
My grandparents come to visit us and we eat more Christmas dinner (We stop eating Christmas dinner around the 27th).
For me Christmas doesn't end until New Years Eve

Wow! I love to hear about Christmas in other countries! Great post, Jacool! Here in America, it is very different, but the spirit of the holidays will always be alive!

Just an average Christmas.
The night before, I go to a Christmas Mass at about Midnight or 11PM, and go to bed at like 1AM. The next morning (Christmas morning), I wake up as early as I can to open up presents, and play with them at what not. I usually forget to open the stockings...

There are many spellings because it is transliteration.
The official US-recognized (but not exact transliteration) is Hanukkah, but whatever.

Yo celebro Navidad (Christmas).
We stay up until midnight, then presents are given and we enter the house again, then we stay up until 2:00 AM to open our presents, play with them, eat stuff and other things.

I wake up and then wake up my sister--6-7 a.m.
We open and play with our gifts 7-Tomorrow!
Other than that we go to Mass the day before and nothing much else, other than a lot of food.

In my Polish tradition, we get all the presents on the Christmas Eve evening.
First we have a big dinner, with my relatives and so on. Unfortunately, since I live in the UK, I can't celebrate with my family. It's still awesome though!
On the Christmas day, we go to a special mass too.
One thing I dislike, is that noone knows why Christmas even exists, and it's more of a marketing ploy...

Same as the Swedish tradition (even though we have a family tradition that you get a book in the Christmas eve morning).

I celebrate Christmas.
On that day, I wake up, open presents, then go to my Grandma's house soon to celebrate with family.
