The new Text based Games forum is up and running after the closing of the one on Scratch.  The new moderators for it are The-Whiz and nikkiperson2 and in my opinion they are great for the job!  congrats to both of you!

Flaming Trout has been resurrected from the ashes and is back and ready for more but in their absence another company has taken the place as best scratch company.  Dg Games!  now we will see which company really is THE BEST COMPANY ON SCRATCH!  now lets see what YOU think?  in your opinion what is the best scratch company?

The Scratch Olympics

Creating an OS

there have been lots of new OS (operating systems) that are being created with scratch right now.  it seems after we finished our "doody phase"  we moved on to our "we need more games on the front page and less art phase" then to our "im creating a games company phase"  and now we were on our operating system phase.  this isnt a bad thing though lots of operating systems are fun but heres some tips on how to make yours the best
- go for professionalism
the more appealing the look is the more someone is going to want to view it
- add lots of games
  people will only view a project if they have fun doing it!
- use your imagination
  people want to do things they have never done before, do something to make yours  stand out above the rest
- time is of the essence!
  make sure that your OS runs smoothly ONLINE and that it doesn't take too long to load.  this is also true with loading on the actual OS.  nobody wants a realistic wait!  they want to play NOWWW!!!
- make it like a real OS
  If your making an OS make it seem like a real OS  minimizing and everything

Its a CONSPIRACY!

as you know doubt already know there was a huge outbreak of anger towards artists before as they were hogging up the front page, this all died down now and everyone is happy.  and i of course have nothing against artists but I was just thinking... why did it die down?  because absolutely nothing has changed since then.  I think the reason it died down was probably because of the Scratch communities proven tendency to go through "phases"  once something new happens the scratch community eats it up, its probably because were all kids, but hey KIDS RULE!  who wants to be an adult anyway!  lol and thats why
