Behind the Red Line Plot by Ian (Militarydudes)

Taking place in World War 2, Decmber 1944, The project opens with Private O’Neil, a bar tender at an American bomber base in England, being debriefed on his experiences after sneaking aboard a bomber, Piloted by Major Mike Damon, only to be shot down behind enemy territory. The project is somewhat narrated by O’Neil. The crew bail’s out and survives (Except for Jones, we later learn, who’s parachute didn’t open), but O’ Neil fails to regroup with everyone else and go’s on his own back to allied territory, while the rest of the crew is captured. From this point on, the project goes back and forth between O’ Neil and the rest of the crew. O’Neil manages to get back to the American troops in Malmady, Belgium, but gets caught in the middle of the “Battle of the Bulge”-The Germans last major offensive of the war-. Meanwhile, Damon and his crew’s captors stop in the fictional Rhine town of Hindberg, town 30 miles from the Belgian-German border, where Damon and the crew attempt to escape.
