Whenever I put a quotation mark in my gallery notes, it turns into "
I don't expect a good answer, but this is really annoying and I'd like to know why this happens.

I think 'quot' means 'quote'(obviously). I think that scratch doesn't display these characters properly. Try entering it again.

Maybe you could try hitting the key twice? Two apostophes together look like a quotation mark! ''Ta-da!''

Yeah, that problem has been around for a long time. Yes, double-single-quotation marks do work best and have been what most people use to get around that.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
