Classical, of course.

I like it because, well, it's relaxing. My ears are sensitive, too, so anything with screechy guitars and screaming lyrics isn't my thing. And I especially like my pieces to be in minor with a dark theme. I don't know why, I just like it.

Blues: AGHHHH! da-bada-da-burda-ba-buhhhhhhh. 
Classical (think of concert): Nice and sweet, but boring when it runs too long. 
Easy Listening: Too "light, small". 
Jazz: No, not my thing. Urgh. 
New Age: Nice! But overall, it depends on the artist. But a thumbs-up. 
Rock: No... not really. 
Techno: So-so. It depends on the artist. Some bad ones YARRRRGH, but some are more suitable, and actually quite nice.

I like Hard Rock and Metal (mainly Metallica). I don't like screaming lyrics, I just like the songs.

I like rock and techno.

I prefer rock and it's associated subgenres. I prefer it because it has a more fast paced and energetic beat to it.
Mainly Emo, Metal, or Alternative, considering my three favourite bands are Paramore, Three Days Grace and Foo Fighters, respectively.

I think country should be on here, because that's my actual favorite. Otherwise, classical. I don't listen to it, but I play the violin, so that's close enough.

  Do you think you could name an artist in New Age for me?    Its not a genre I'm familiar with.

New Age is more of an instrumental music, not as much focused on lyrics; but it can have lyrics.
There are some different types, such as Mannheim Steamroller (instrumental) or Enya (free). All are good. 

But of course, it's your opinion that matters.

Neo-Alt-Metal like Linkin Park and Three Days Grace is by far the best. It actually is people singing about emotions. I also like comedy songs from Wierd Al and The Lonely Island.
