NOTE: This isn't really about [user name removed]. Just its a catchy title (lol), and he was one of the causes.

Listen everybody who has seen my project on the front page. I don't want it to get on the front page. Its just being used for a collab, and its for he members to see. This isn't because I wanna be mean... I just only want the scratch community to see the finished version - not every single beta test.

What happened, I noticed, was [user name removed], posted the words:

EVERYBODY FLAG AS INAPPROPRIATE IF YOU WANT PASSWORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aparently, people took notice of it, and did this. Many members posted mean comments such as [removed so I don't get criticized]

Earlier today, when I happened to notice that it was on the front page, I made a joke that I was so popular, but apparently many people took it literally.

I DO NOT, AND I NEVER DID WANT TO USE THIS FOR POPULARITY, OR FOR FRONT PAGE ABUSE. Just I don't have any websites such as mediafire or anything else to upload my projects to, and I find using those websites inconvinient, so I just upload my beta tests here.

This project is NOT innapropriate. Not in ANY ways.

Scratch Team, I'm not saying that this should be put back on. That would only mean more ranting. And thats the last thing I want ;). So people, please aknowledge to this.

Scratch is a great programming language, and I don't want to lose the priviledge to use this website, due to people who don't take their time to understand things, or just because of people with low IQs flagging projects as innapropriate.

With this being said, I have some suggestions.

Never be on front page button - Many people make test accounts and projects that are for collabs like me, and sometimes we don't want people to see it. This button would help. Not neccarily everybody would use this, but some might adore it. Mainly people who are making tests or collabs, and the people who already get enough messages in the scratch inbox.

Projects only viewed by certain people - This one I'm more on the fence on, but it would come in handy. As a collab, we want to suprise the community with the different and unique features of our games. Having everybody see the test doesn't help.

Umm, edit the post so no names are given so a mod doesn't have to do that smile

And yeah, many people think it is mean to not let others see, but it is like that because the project isn't really good at the moment.

Define mean comments?

By my standards, I consider mean comments, comments that insult or degrade another person or the creator. Generally I made that up, but you can't disagree with that.

Nonchalantly means sort of casually, calmly.

And excuse me in advance for the correction of spelling (I'm a spelling and grammar freak tongue ).
Compliment has an "i" in the middle, not an "e".

It is a trick, but we should at least tell how to do this. You use a switch variable method, one that switches something with the password. That is all I know, Lucario was the one who made that.

This seems to be a reoccuring problem... But nice suggestion. What if a user made an "annoucement project" like "I ate a hotdog!" (just an example, I've never seen a project like that! tongue ) and they don't want it to get on the front page because of critism, they could use that.
