Re: The Pokémon Center: Tournaments, Trades, and Battles

We missed each other...  sad

I calculated the IVs. They're about average.
HP: 1. Terrible.
Defense: 4. Far below average.
Sp. Atk: 29. Almost perfect.
Sp. Def: 25. Above average.

It's the least defensive Lileep ever! But its special stats are amazing.

I have Wynauts. And Castforms. And dozens of Voltorb. I have a Corphish and Crawdaunt, a Minun or Baltoy, and Happiny. Also being offered is Feebas, Trapinch, Aron, or Tangela.

Okay. I want Lunatone/Solrock because they aren't obtainable without GBA games, and I have many Feebas/Trapinch/etc.

Tangrowth and Groudon work so well together it's not even funny.

Palkia works better with Kyogre though, being statistically better, having a wider movepool, a double power Surf and 100% accuracy Thunder.
Manaphy is also a good partner because of sleepless Rest.

Re: The Pokémon Center: Tournaments, Trades, and Battles

I was amazed by the fact that Groudon naturally learned SolarBeam. I thought I'd have to go for the 2v2 battles XP

My Froslass and suicide team members work together in 2v2 by abusing its Ghost typing.

Palkia's higher Special Attack makes up the difference in STAB. Palkia is also only weak to Dragon Type attacks.

@Big-Bang - Solarbeam just generally isn't an advisable move for Groudon because of it's lower Special Attack. You can team Groudon up with a variety of Pokemon who will make excellent use of it though.

Or Chlorophyll Tangrowth.
Or my personal favourite, Cherrim.

I notice an Ice/Ground weakness in your sig.

I like Cherrim, but I'm annoyed that they had to waste a perfectly good blossom design by making it mainly an ugly bud thing.

And I think that the highest Speed Clorophyll Jumpluff can possibly have is (assuming perfect IVs, sunny weather, and Choice Scarf) is 1050. O.O

There is a certain point where you don't need more speed.  tongue
I like Jumpluff, but he's largely made obsolete by Shaymin - S.
There isn't a ground weakness. There is an ice weakness, but Stealth Rock cripples all of them, Darkrai can outspeed and either cripple them with Dark Void or OHKO with Focus Blast, and assuming sunlight Tangrowth can too. If paired up with Cherrim in sunlight, Groudon fails to be OHKOed by practically all ice type moves and can easily OHKO back with a boosted Fire Punch.

Re: The Pokémon Center: Tournaments, Trades, and Battles

Ya... Can u draw it better??? It's supposed to be a ledgendary pkmon from pokemon magma, a game Im going to make in rpgmaker. Could u sprite all these too?:a puppy made out of a bush
evololves into dog with leaves for ears, and green fur
evololves into large poodle with broccoli for the puffy fur on the head and tail, green fur
a baby Pegasus with flames for wings, and a flaming mane
evolves into a bigger Pegasus with flames for wings, a flaming mane, a small horn, and slightly less cute
evolves into a full sized Pegasus with large flaming wings, and flaming mane, a full horn, and very mythical looking
a baby blue elephant with small ears, no tusks, and a short trunk
evolves into a slightly bigger darker blue elephant with larger ears and a longer trunk
evolves into a full size elephant, with large tusks, big ears and a long trunk. Dark blue
I know that this is a lot. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.
Edit: this is from an old post of mine. They will be the starters in my game. It's a ton of work but I just can not draw. Thx again for any help.

He pointed out 2 weaknesses. I assumed that because ice was one of them, he was pointing out weaknesses my team in general had. I didn't assume he was referring only to Dialga because he didn't point out the myriad other types which at least one of my pokemon have a weakness to (Water, for example)
