The-Whiz as Curator

The-Whiz as Curator

History
I was chosen to be curator (Thanks Scratch Team!)  on October 24th. My term was going to be from Monday, November 23rd to Monday, December 7th.
Then, on November 7th, the Scratch Team contacted me again; the curator scheduled from November 9th to the 23rd couldn't do it, and my term was moved to November 9th to November 23rd.

Info
I'm going to show 21 total projects, each one for two days. The green projects are ones that are currently on the front page and the red projects are the ones that have been on the front page.

The-Whiz as Curator Gallery

NOTE: People who beg me to put their projects on the front page will definitely NOT get on the front page.

Projects
11/9 and 11/10:
Physics by MathWizz.
Chosen because: This project has amazing physics and many different variables, that you can change to affect the way it works. It also incorporates lists, making the project even better.
Pie Chart by greenflash.
Chosen because: I like how the graph can change how large the sections are based on the total number of entries. I also like the fact that it is a one-sprite one-scripter.
Super Smash Bros. Ball Halloween Version by Lucario621.
Chosen because: I really the size-changing scrolling engine and the Halloween characters. Halloween's over, but this is still a great game. I also like the CPU.
11/11 and 11/12:
IZE by Kanoa.
Chosen because: This is a great game with amazing gameplay. It has great physics and many different objects to interact with to get to the goal.
Sierpinski snowflake and other algorithms by billyedward.
Chosen because: This is a great mathematical project. I never knew that there was more than one kind of Sierpinski's Gasket... Until I saw this.
The Ellipserator by scmb1.
Chosen because: This is a neat simulation. I think it is ingenious how scmb1 made the ellipse script.
11/13 and 11/14:
Levy C Curve by spartans21.
Chosen because: This is a great math and art project, with some cool patterns. Spartans21 also has some great projects, but little recognition.
Heat Graph by Jasper.
Chosen because: This is a neat graphing simulation of "heat" - And it works very well. I also like the accuracy slider.
Star Navigator by Larry828.
Chosen because: This is a neat game, with a cool system of movement.
11/15 and 11/16:
Mini Racer by coka.
Chosen because: This is a neat game, and makes it seem like you are looking into an arcade booth. The scrolling is a nice touch, too.
intersect by Addone.
Chosen because: This is an ingenious project that uses great math to figure out the intersection of two lines.
Soogle by shadow_7283.
Chosen because: This is a great emulator of google. It has almost all the same functions and buttons and operates very well.
11/17 and 11/18:
Scratch1_Attractor by mathjp.
Chosen because: This is a great attractor with great variations and many different patterns to choose from.
Jump To The Top by jacool.
Chosen because: This is a neat game. I like how there are infinite levels, and every level is different.
Physics_Gears by dapontes.
Chosen because: I've always been fascinated with gears, and this uses them in a very nice way.
11/19 and 11/20:
Balancing Balls by TheSaint.
Chosen because: This uses great lever/weight physics and is a great game.
Vanishing Point 3D Sprites! =D by RHY3756547.
Chosen because: This is a great simulation with a nice concept and good programming.
Spiral Art by kiwi13.
Chosen because: This is a great art project that makes amazing patterns.
11/21 and 11/22
Mars - Retrograde motion by dapontes.
Chosen because: The only way to describe this project is "amazing". Fantastic project in general, and great music.
MineSweeper by gvdh.
Chosen because: This is an amazing MineSweeper game, with great graphics and astonishing programming.
Fusbol by thebing.
Chosen because: This is a great real-life game, put onto Scratch very effectively. Great Graphics too.

Re: The-Whiz as Curator

Can I reccomend the projects on my favorites? My favorites is filled with lots of projects. I don't limit my favorites to just the best, I favorite all projects that are fairly good, and have something advanced and unique in them.

You can recommend them if you want, but that doesn't guarantee that I'll pick them.

Congratulations.  smile

I recommend a slightly old project of mine, "Pretty Colors II". It creates some interesting images using the pen blocks and loops. Here's the link.

why are you writing this, aside from "Informing us" that you're curator. It does seem like you're bragging.

I found this good shooting game by Sawman3, and I want to vote for it to be featured.
It's a smiley sniper game.
