These are very helpful tips when starting out. Especially for a little n00blet like me. x3
The only thing I did not understand was adding your projects to galleries. It might be because galleries was misspelled and spelled gallery's. (Which literally means gallery is)
Is the reason why your projects get more popular is because there are other videos that are the same theme or what? -is confused-
Any help on this matter would be appreciated greatly.

90% of users post on the forums that they are leaving and then they wind up coming back. once you do this people are going to think its for PUBLICITY
*Don't post that you are leaving on the forums> it gets really annoying when people say it and then come back when people beg em not to go

Great tips! But I want to say that even though advertising in the forums is great, people advertise in FAQ, Trobleshooting, and advanced topics. You might want to add, "Only advertise in the Show And Tell section." You don't have to, though. LOL, just trying to help.

True, advertising in other sections is kind of bad, so you might want to edit your post a bit.

I think I'll follow them later, cuz this just gave me a great idea. When I release my game I'll post the link on every project and add it to every possible gallery I can. And if it doesn't work, I'll follow the tips

Ooh, I got one! Don't be too specific when tagging your projects. If your project has people going to a Martian grocery store, don't make a tag that says " Two aliens go from Pluto to Mars to get milk, eggs, and butter." Make tags like "martian grocery store" or "going shopping on mars". But don't make tags that are too general. "Space" would get so many hits nobody would ever see your project.

Another great way to get more "famous" is to have a profile picture you made yourself and that looks cool, in that way people will remember you better.
just look at illusionist's profile picture

Great tips! :3 I myself do all of them already, but this could really help a new scratcher or an old one looking for help in one of those areas. ^^
