<when green flag clicked>
<if>
<( <=> )> Power = 0
<turn cw( )degrees> 10 degrees
<set[ ]effect to( ghost to 99
<stop all>
<end>
Is that how dieing works? or does scratch need a <die> block?

What about a <hide> stage block and a <show> stage block? the <hide mouse> block will cause windows to have no mouse pointer. i will NOT put that in scripts of my projects.

I have the beta version of 1.4, and have had it for a long time. I can't wait until the full version is released, but I thought it would come out a bit sooner. At least I have the beta version.

they should do a <die> block in control, and the <Health> varaible in control and health varaible blocks like (health), <change health by ( )>, <set health to ( )>
the blocks are this:
<when green flag clicked>
if <( <=> )> (health: 0)
<die>
<change ( ) effect by ( )> (ghost by: 99)
<end>

rdococ, Please do not post on topics that are "dead" or have no use anymore. This is called necroposting and the moderators and Scratch Team encourage people not to do it. So please don't do it anymore .
Out of partial mod mode (lol):
The suggestions that you made can easily by using the kind of scripts you have given. Not a lot of games have "dieing" in them, so that may not be very useful.
About the hide and show stage... What color would it be "under" the stage? White? Black? If so, just make a costume in the stage for that color and instead of <hide stage> you can do <switch costume to [...]>.
Hope that helps

Spenfen says:
YES. ARRAYS WILL BE INCLUDED IN 1.4.
But arrays weren't included in Scratch 1.4 now were they? I think that this topic should be closed because 1.4 is already out!

Since Scratch 1.4 is out, this topic is outdated. It will now therefore be closed.
If you would like to talk about suggestions for Scratch 1.5, you can use this thread.
