"The color green is what you feel when you taste mint, or barley, or when you feel a tropical breeze. The color green is the color of intellgence. The color green, is what you think of when you hear trees whistling and rustling in the breeze. The color green, is simply green."
I wrote that in second grade to go with my orange (as in the fruit) poem:
"Oranges, falling from trees,
Like little balls of light, giving insight,
Falling
Falling
Falling
gracefully to the ground below."

That is useful, but I don't think will help a blind person understand green.
Here is something:
Green
The cool grass you feel,
between fingers
The kiwi you can taste,
a yummy fruit
Can you smell a spring breeze,
a light green feeling?
Or can you hear,
a deer in the woods, a green sound,
in a green forest
After all,
green is more than a color
it is a feeling of nature.

Are samurai768 and djm111 the only ones besides me who thinks of green as more than just a color? Think about it. You can't describe a color by the way it looks to a blind person. duh. You have to think of other parts to green, like my poem mentioned earlier. Maybe one of you should try that, write a poem. Or you should think with your eyes closed. This is NOT an impossible question!

Green is the color you taste when you drink rat poison. Go try it out now.
That was very rude! If you do not agree with my opinion, say it nicely! Even if that comment was not about my opinion, there is still no excuse for that mean thing you said!

It might be more than a colour, but we were asked to describe the colour green

What do you mean by "narce"? I'm just saying that "go drink rat poison" isn't really appropriate, don't you think? I hope you can understand that!

That is not funny. I was offended by what you said about rat poison.

I see your point, and I realize, the COLOR of something is a tricky thing to explain. Thanks for your opinion!
